Home by Holly celebrates 10 years of creative Canberra real estate with a new look and a new website.
Ten years ago, Home by Holly began with an idea, real estate could feel more personal.
More creative. More connected. More human.
In August 2016, Holly Komorowski began building a different kind of real estate business in Canberra one centred around people, homes and the stories that connect the two.
A decade later, there is plenty to celebrate.
Home by Holly has grown into a team and extended collective of 25 people across residential sales, property management, operations, marketing and support. We have sold and managed homes across Canberra and the surrounding region, welcomed many new faces, collected a few awards along the way, and worked alongside an incredible network of local photographers, videographers, stylists, designers, artists, makers and businesses.
And now, as we turn 10, Home by Holly has a fresh new look and a new home online.

The look has evolved, but what sits behind it hasn’t.
We still believe a home deserves more than a standard real estate campaign. Every property has a story, every client is different, and the best marketing starts with understanding both.
That philosophy has shaped Home by Holly from the beginning.
It has taken us from a small boutique Canberra real estate agency to the collective we are today, with specialists across residential property sales and property management and a team deeply connected to the neighbourhoods in which we work.
The new website brings more of that together in one place, our people, properties, stories, local knowledge and the creative approach to real estate that has always been part of Home by Holly.
A decade of different
There have been some lovely milestones over the past 10 years.
Home by Holly has been recognised nationally for residential property marketing, named Canberra Women in Business Small Business of the Year, and recognised by the Real Estate Institute of the ACT, including being named Medium Residential Agency of the Year.
But some of the things we’re proudest of don’t come with trophies.
They’re the relationships that have lasted beyond settlement day. The clients who have returned years later, or introduced us to their children, friends and neighbours. The local businesses, artists and makers we’ve been able to collaborate with and champion. The people who joined our team and helped shape what Home by Holly became.
It’s seeing our little idea become something much bigger than the people who started it.
Today, more than 25 people contribute to the Home by Holly collective, from our sales and property management teams to the people behind the scenes and the creative specialists who help us tell the story of every home.
And Canberra is still very much at the centre of it.
Our Love Local, Meet the Maker and community collaborations have given us another way to celebrate the people, places, architecture, design and small businesses that make this region such a good place to call home.
Celebrating ten
On 29 August 2026, our team came together at Little Sutton Bakehouse in Sutton to celebrate the milestone.
It felt like the right place to mark 10 years, local, relaxed, creative and centred around good people coming together.
There were past and present team members, friends, collaborators and plenty of people who have been part of the Home by Holly story.
Mostly, it was an opportunity to stop for a moment and appreciate just how far we’ve come.
From a small Canberra real estate business in 2016 to a collective of more than 25 people in 2026.

Turning 10 has given us a chance to look back, but the refreshed Home by Holly brand is really about what comes next.
We’re continuing to invest in better property marketing, smarter technology and a more seamless experience for our sellers, buyers, landlords and tenants, without losing the personal approach that got us here.
Our new website is part of that evolution a clearer, more beautiful way to explore properties for sale and rent, meet our team, discover our Canberra neighbourhoods and learn a little more about the way we do real estate.
A lot can change in 10 years.
The important things haven’t.
We still love Canberra. We still believe every home has a story worth telling. And we still believe real estate can be authentic, creative, friendly and remarkably effective.
